Collage

Collage is a total mystery to me. It is, in my estimation, impossible to plot out any specific ideas until a shred of a visual crosses my path. I suddenly become taken with it. Quickly, it evolves into a mysterious provocation, unearthing additional visuals to go with the initial one. Plotting along from there becomes the constant challenge.

I find collage to be the most difficult of the types of work I create. One would think having imagery presented to you would make it easy. However, one has to make friends with that sudden appearance. And that is not always so easy.
